City government welcomed young city officials

In line with the celebration of the 26th National Children’s Month, the city government played host to senior and junior high school students as they assumed the roles of young city officials and young heads of offices of the LGU.

For a period of two days, on November 27 -28, 2018, the students observed their counterparts as the latter performed their official duties. The opportunity aims to expose the students early on to the inner workings of running the city government thereby inculcating in them human relations, self-confidence, and self-discipline.

This year’s Young City Mayor was Chico D. Reyes of TNHS-Main Campus, Young City Vice Mayor was Jessriel Franch Ariz of VMC Asial School, and Young City Accountant was Ian Vincent Ramay of TNHS-Annex among others.
