These are the top management priorities of PSupt Ranie P. Hachuela, the incoming Chief of Police (COP) of Tacurong City Police Station.
On January 18, 2016, the outgoing COP, PSupt Junny Buenacosa, officially relinquished his post to Hachuela in a Turn-over of Command Ceremony held at the Tacurong City Police Station.
Tacurong City’s Chief Executive, Hon. Lina O. Montilla, Vice Mayor Joseph George Lechonsito, members of the Sannguniang Panlungsod, barangay captains, and the rest of the Tacurong City Police Station personnel bore witness to the said ceremony.
Also present to help welcome the incoming COP were officials from the Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office, Task Force Talakudong, Tacurong City Fire Protection Bureau, and members of the Rotary Club-Tacurong City Chapter, Sultan Kudarat Chamber of Commerce, and Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
PSupt Hachuela is a native of Brgy. Baras, Tacurong City, and he graduated from the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) in 1997. He was Deputy R4 Logistics at Police Regional Office 9 in Zamboanga City prior.
In 2003, PSupt Hachuela was awarded the Medalya ng Kagitingan (Medal of Valor) for his heroic deed in defending the town of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte and rescuing the municipal mayor and his family from a siege against the MILF, which lasted for nine hours. (Yen Robles, LGU-Tacurong)
