A Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) of Php 2,033,993 has been released by the Department of Budget and Management to the City Government of Tacurong as its Special Local Roads Fund (SLRF) for Fiscal Year 2015.

The amount was in line with the timely completion and implementation of LGU-Tacurong’s road management projects for the year 2014.

The fund was presented by the DILG during the LRMPA meeting on September 3, 2015 at the Palm Bistro in New Isabela, Tacurong City.

In connection with this, DILG representatives from the central office and Region XII held a meeting with the LGU-Tacurong stakeholders on the improvements to the Local Roads Management Performance Assessment (LRMPA) tool.

The representatives were Mr. Miguel Hayag, Jr., Engr. Junius Baclig, Engr. Herminia Ontoy, and Mr. Alberto Sero.

The stakeholders, as represented by the heads of offices, were the City Engineering, Planning, BAC, Accounting, City Administrator, and Human Resource Management.

The LRMPA is a tool developed by the DILG to monitor and evaluate the capacity and performance of local government units on local road management.
