LGU-Tacurong tops off CSC month with Loyalty Awards

A more outstanding Civil Service – this is what the City Government of Tacurong envisions for its personnel as it concluded the month-long celebration of the 121st Civil Service Commission Anniversary in the city with the awarding of Loyalty Incentive as well as Career and Self-Development Incentive, September 27, 2021.

Forty-eight employees who rendered 10 to 45 years of service to the city government were able to receive cash and a gold jewelry from the selection of pins, rings, bracelets, or necklaces, depending on their years of employment, as part of their incentives.

The sole civil servant for this year who garnered 45 years of experience in the LGU is Emelia M. Domingo. As her reward, she took home a P50,000 check.

City Mayor Lino O. Montilla articulated his gratitude for the constant and steadfast labor of the employees to the city government. He also conveyed his hope to inspire the others to remain as an asset of the LGU through this act of acknowledgment.

His message tightly corresponded to the theme of this year’s CSC celebration: Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant Heroes.

With that, 3 more staff who furthered professional development and attained additional academic degrees were also recognized with a plaque as part of their Career and Self-Development Incentive.

Prior to this, the LGU carried out a series of virtual activities such as webinars and mini-online quizzes in active commemoration of the CSC month.

All these undertakings were set in motion by the City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO) spearheaded by CHRM Officer Elsa B. Indanao. (DECostas, LGU-TacInformation)
