It was also during the program that the LGU, through the 6th Sangguniang Panlungsod, declared Sen. Drilon as Tacurong’s adopted son through Resolution No. 178-2014. “I was the senate president of the 11th congress when the charter of Tacurong City was passed on August 2000. Today, you are celebrating the 14th anniversary,” the senator said during a presscon held on the same day in the city. “This occasion is like a homecoming for me,” he added. During the presscon, Senator Drilon expressed his willingness to assist South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat in establishing a district hospital in Surrallah, South Cotabato. The hospital, according to South Cotabato Gov. Daisy Avance-Fuentes, will cater the health needs of towns and provinces in the region.
