This season just keeps on giving as 250 Children with Disabilities, along with their parents, have once again become the recipients of stuffed toys and Jollibee meals for the annual gift-giving activity of LGU-Tacurong, December 21, 2021, at the Tacurong Pilot Elementary Gymnasium.

The gift-giving ceremony this year – dubbed as “Children’s Fun Day” – is a continuation of the city government’s tradition of offering simple presents to PWDS kids in hopes of bringing smiles and happiness to their faces, as well as assurance to their parents that the LGU is providing services and programs that cater to every aspect of the PWD kids’ being.

To further reaffirm the LGU’s commitment to arranging varied projects for the PWD kids, City Councilor David Salazar imparted in his message that the LGU is doing every possible step it can take to expand and deliver more implementations to the children.

As of this year, one of the flagship programs of the LGU for the PWD children is sending them to Physical Therapists for rehabilitation, and next year, according to Councilor Salazar, more activities for the kids will be undertaken.
