Mr. Lloyd Ala, a resident of Tacurong City and a former OFW in Oman, received livelihood assistance worth P10, 000.00 from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) 12 intended for a rice retailing business. The livelihood assistance is a project of OWWA under the Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay (BPBH), which seeks to assist returning OFWs in their reintegration. OWWA 12’s BPBH and Insurance Program Manager Kristine Sison and OWWA 12 Family Welfare Officer for Sultan Kudarat Celine Travilla turned over the claim voucher to Mr. Ala on February 11 at the city hall.
