More than sixty(60) Person Who Used Drugs (PWUDs) from Tacurong City and different stakeholders attended the opening of the 6th Batch of the Community Based Rehabilitation Program of the City of Tacurong at the Tacurong Pilot Elementary School Gymnasium last May 26, 2021. The Community Based Rehabilitation Program of the City of Tacurong is a comprehensive approach in rehabilitating PWUDs through counselling and other therapeutic sessions. This program with the City Health Office at the helm, is an initiative of Mayor Angelo O. Montilla to help heal and recover our brethren who are victims of drug abuse. Lectures immediately started after the program. The PWUDs buckle up for a 5 week rehabilitation process and are set to graduate on June 24, 2021. They will then be known as ‘The Recovered’ and ‘Empowered Brethren’ that will help contribute to the community. (EDB, LGU-TacInformation)
