The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) declared ten (10) barangays in Tacurong City to be “drug-clear” during the Joint City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) and City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) meeting on 16 August 2018.

These barangays are Brgy. Baras, Calean, Kalandagan, Lancheta, New Passi, Rajah Muda, San Antonio, San Rafael, Tina, and Upper Katungal.

In its certification, PDEA indicated that Tacurong City underwent a Barangay Drug Clearing Operation pursuant to the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) Regulation No. 3, series of 2017 covering the period of March 23, 2017 up to date, which resulted to the drug-cleared barangays.

The Regional Oversight Committee will continue to conduct revalidation and evaluation of the 10 barangays to monitor their status.(YMR, LGUTac-Info)
